Straight Spline Hobs are used for cutting parallel splines. These are manufactured with or without lugs, semi-topping and shoulder clearance types in Class 'AA' & 'A'.

Class A is used for finishing, class B is used for hobs with grinding allowance: 0.30-0.40mm

Type 1- applied to spline shaft centered according to major dia.

Type 2- applied to lugged spline shaft centered according to major dia.

Type 3- applied to spline shaft centered according to major dia. And with bottom dia. Grinding allowance

Type 4- applied to lugged splined shaft centered according to minor dia. And with bottom dia. Grinding allowance
