The rubber on the ends prevents damage during cleaningand forms

an airtight seal to remove as much residue(concrete, water, mortar)

as possible. Layered construction makes for a high-density sponge.
Feel the elasticity for yourself!

+++ Instructions:

1) Place the sponge in the pipe (for best results, stuff padding around the sponge)
2) Force the sponge out with copious amounts of water or air.
3) This will force out any concrete residue, leaving the inside of the pipe clean.
