Our sand suction dredger is made up of one or two pontoons, one gantry frame, one winch, one sand pump, one water jet pump, one main engine, one auxiliary engine, one or two propellor, the propellor engine, one cabin, one suction head, one suction pipe, one discharge pipe, two or more anchors and ropes, long distance discharge pipe.

How to work? The sand suction dredger is working in the river or in the sea. First drop the suction head and suction pipe into river bottom and then start engines, the main engine drives the sand pump and auxiliary engine drives the water jet pump. The water jet pump can suck water and spray to the river bottom to make sand soft, then the sand pump will make sand suck into the sand suction head then the sand will be through the sand discharge pipe.

How deep does our dredger dig? 1.5m to 30m. Usually the customers need to dig 5m, 10m, 15m, 20m, 25m.

What is the dredger's capacity per hour? Our sand dredger can output raw material 40-400cbm/h. Usually the buyer orders 40-60cmb/h, 60-100cbm/h, 100-150cbm/h, 150-200cbm/h, 200-300cbm/h.

The dredger's engines: Usually we use three kinds, first diesel engine, second, diesel engine generator and electric motors, third just electric motors. Usually we advise diesel engine. If you want to use electric motor or diesel engine generator, we will install according to your needs. As to the engine and motor brand, if you need England's, America's, Japan's, Germany's, please tell us in advance, if not, we will select our own country's.

The sand suction series:

Two pontoons sand suction dredger, small shore sand suction dredger, sand suction barge dredger, sand drilling suction dredger, jet suction dredger, cutter suction dredger.

Two-pontoons sand suction dredger is a usual sand dredger in the river. This kind of dredger has two pontoons and can move forward or backward by the propellor. This dredger pumps sand in the river. It can discharge sand to the sand barge or to the river shore by the long distance discharge pipe.

Small shore sand suction dredger is a small dredger, which can dredge sand near river shore. Usually this kind of dredger is a part of sand suction dredger and sand barge. When the sand barge loads sand into river near river shore, this dredger can suck sand from river to the river shore.

Sand suction barge dredger is made up of sand suction system and small sand barge. It not only can dredge sand in the river, but also can load sand to ship to the river shore. Usually the customer needs 30-100cbm/h sand suction barge dredger. This dredger can unload sand into river and then the small shore sand suction dredger sucks into river shore, or it has a set of pump, so the sand will be discharged to river shore by the pump from vessel.

Sand drilling suction dredger is not a usual one. This dredge can dill riverbed and dig sand below river clay layer.

Jet suction dredger also has two pontoons and it is similar to the two-pontoons sand suction dredger, but it has a suction ladder and special sand pump. This sand pump has high head and can discharge long distance.

Cutter suction dredger is used for dredging river channel or river harbor.

Sand pump: we use two different kinds of sand pump to dredge sand from river. If you just discharge sand about 30m more or less or just discharge sand into a sand barge, we advise the normal sand pump, and this pump has a low price, high output, low power. But if you need to discharge sand to far place, we advise you choose the special sand pump, which has high head, big power and high price. However, if you need the jet suction dredger and the cutter suction dredger, you must choose the special sand pump.

Also you can use these dredgers to dredge sand, mine gold and iron. We just need to install special equipment in the sand suction dredger.
