Molybdenum disilicide heater rod MoSi2 heating elements are a kind of resistance heating element basically made of high pure Molybdenum Disilicide .In oxidizing atmosphere,on the surface of MoSi2 element owing to the high temperature combustion a layer of compact quartz protective film is formed to prevent MoSi2 from continuously oxidizing .In oxidizing atmosphere .

MoSi2 heating elements can usually make use of furnace temperature from 1300 to 1800. It is extensively used in the industries of metallurgy, glass, ceramic refractory, crystal electronic device, industrial furnace manufacture, etc.

MoSi2 heating elements include series 1700 grade, 1800 grade. Packaging is available in U shape, W shape, Straight shape (X shape) and bend shape (L shape) and the special shape etc. The dimension ranges from 3/6, 4/9, 5/10, 6/10, 6/12, 6/14, 7/14, 8/16, 9/18 to 12/24mm.

Now our company supply two types MoSi2 heating elements, one is M1700 type, which ensure max. furnace temperature 1650C; another is M1800 type, which ensure max. furnace temperature 1700C. When you place order, please choose suitable type according to your furnace working temperature.
