Features:

Ø This series of forging machine is of horizontal jaw crank type. The upsetting action is completed by horizontal punching head forging and clamp molds.

Ø When the clamp molds are split, the upper clamp mold rotates around the centre of gyration. The upper mold will disengage from the work piece when the upsetting action starts, to make forged piece without demould pitch, or to make forged part with concave.

Ø The clamp force of this machine is 1/3 larger than the upset force. So during the upsetting, we can avoid loose of clamp mould to get forged piece without fash.

Ø This machine is not only suitable for long bar raw material and also suitable to forge the short bar. It is also capable for punching, extruding, side cut etc to avoid unnecessary fash.

Ø So this horizontal forging machine is of high economic and efficiency to manufacture various complicated forged work pieces, and is most suitable for industries to make cars, tractors, airplanes, trains etc.

The process comprises of two parts namely upsetting and clamping.

The upsetting part is combined by crank and link arm, the crank drives the link arm, and the link arm pushes the slide block to achieve reciprocating movement, and complete heading or upsetting. In the clamping part, the end part of the link arm drives a series of lever to complete the clamping process.
