Working Principle

The motor drives the millstone to rotate through vertical reducer. The solid material is fed through the air lock feeding device from the feed inlet into the disc center, then been left to the periphery of the disc under the action of the centrifugal force field, and then turns to be powder due to repeated rolling by the roller. The crushed material overflow from the edge of the disc. Then the powder material is rising by the high-speedair flow from the bottom of the machine. Under the function of the rapidly rotating rotor, when the rising air and powder material transmit through the saparator, the upper part of the mill, coarse powder is isolated and fall into the center of disc to be re-grinding while fine powder will come out of the mill with the air flow and be collected into a dust arrester installation, it is the product. Those particulate material which didn't been taken away by the air flow, after spilling out of the millstone, will back to the feedign device though circulating of bucket elevator and be grinded in the mill together with new raw material. For materials with higher moisture content, hot air is blowing-in. Then during process of grinding, saparating and flowing, wet material will be dried for its full mix with hot air and reaches moisture requirement of the product.

Performance and characteristics

2. High grinding efficiency, large extent of energy saving. Compared with the ball mill system, Shenxiang Vertical Mill can save electricity 30 ~ 50%; compared with traditional vertical mill, as it has a large proportion of outer loop, the system power consumption can reduce 20%.
3. Shenxiang Vertical Mill is characteristics with high production fineness ratio, high manufactural precision and high separating efficiency, so it is more suitable for the production of ultrafine powders.
4. Small abrasion, low consumption of steel. Millstone is not in direct contact with the rollers, both liner and roller are made by high abrasion-resistant material.
5. Reliable operation and easy maintainance. The rollers can be took out of the mill when overhaul. For those large machine which have four rollers, when repaire one or two rollers in symmetric position, the other two rollers can work as usual, and that could up to 60 to 70 percent of normal capacity, does not affect or less affect on the entire production line.
6. High cost performance, save investment. simple installation, small cccupation of land area, and economized investment in civil construction.
7. Small vibration and noise, no fyling dust.

Applied range

1. In the cement industry, Shenxiang Vertical Mill suitable for grinding of cement rawmaterial, coal and cement clinker.
2. In building materials and metallurgy industry, Shenxiang Vertical Mill suitable for grinding high-fine mineral slag powder and high-fine steel slag powder.
3. When grinding cement, mineral slag, steel slag and other materials, since the material stays a long time in grinding area than traditional vertical mill, Shenxiang Vertical Mill get a high propotion of fine powder; shape and grade distribution of the powders made by Shenxiang Vertical Mill are close to production of ball mill, so it will help to improve the hydrating capacity of cement (high fine mineral slag powder and high fine steel slag powder), increase strength.
4. In thermal power plant, Shenxiang Vertical Mill suitable for preparation of pulverized coal and the desulfurizer limestone powder .
5. In the metallurgical,chemical and mining industries, Shenxiang Vertical Mill suitable for grinding various ores and other industrial solid materials, the product fineness can be controlled within 100 to 1250 mesh (147 ~ 10um).
