Jig SeparatorIntroduction

Jig separator is a new type of jigs. It is one of the modern gravity separation equipments, which can separate mineral based on differing of specific gravity.

Jig Concentrator Application

Jig Concentrator is widely used in gravity concentration of tin, tungsten, placer gold, hematite ore, manganese, titanium, antimony, lead, tantalum, niobium and other minerals.

How toadjust a jig separator:

1. The thickness of the intermediaries, the thickness of the intermediaries determined by the size and density of the mineral been selected. if it's too too thick, then the capacity and recovery rate will be low; if it's too thin, then the grade of the concentrate will be low.

2. The stroke and frequency. Normally, for big size mineral concentration, we use long stroke, low frequency; and for the small size granules, we use short stroke and high frequency.

3. Flow water. The flow water is used for increase the grade of the concentrate, by reducing the down stream force when the diaphragm moving downwards. And also strengthen the up stream force to increase the grading of different density granules especially the big size ones. The flow water determined by the feeding quantity, feeding size, feeding density, mineral density, intermediaries thickness and size. Normally, we'll increase the flow water quantity in the case as bellow:the feeding quantity is big, the feeding size is big, and the feeding density is high, the intermediaries is thick and tight; and decrease the quantity of the flow water quantity when the feeding quantity is small, the feeding size is small, the feeding density is low, and the intermediaries is thin and loss.

For adjusting a jig separator, we need some basic informations about the minerals and the coarse, and also need test producing to find the best parameters.
