3.1. Features

The double column vertical turning Lathe model CK5263-3 is a super rigid machine with big machining capacities, stable & rigid structure, heavy job load and high machining efficiency.

Functions: 1. I.D. turning, O.D. turning, end-facing,

2. cone turning,

3. grooving, parting / cut off,

4. drilling, boring, reaming,

5. threading, etc.

3.2. Machine Body

The main body of this cnc vertical turning lathe is made of high rigid resin castings with thermal stress relief aging treatment. Small cast iron bodies are hardened with high temperature. All the steel parts are thermal refined.

3.3. Machine structure

This vertical turning lathe adopts a double-column and gantry frame and is mainly composed of machine base, table, speed change gear box, columns, cross beam, two tool heads, hydraulic power pack, and electric system. The two columns are connected to the table through the connecting block. The speed change gear box is fitted at the back of machine. The cross beam moves along the guideways of columns. The two tool heads are seated on the guideways of cross beam that can move horizontally and vertically.

3.4. Hydrostatic working table

Features of hydrostatic table adopted with constant flow synchronous pump:

a. low friction for permanent life of table,

b. heavy load capacity on table,

c. oil film between machine base and table absorbs cutting vibration & loads,

d. a safety mechanism controls the hydrostatic pressure for optimum safety.

3.5. Transmission system

DC 75 kW main motor with speed regulator or AC 75 kW main motor with VFD unit and gear box are adopted for drive of the table so that variable speeds can be achieved within each speed range. Precision ballscrews are used for drive of tool head vertically & horizontally.
