OPERATION MANUAL

1.Appliance scope and characteristic

Model SG semi-auto Gluer is suitable for the gluing of kinds of paperboard and corrugated board. Easy operation and no need training. One minute quick order change. The minimum size of width plus height of the carton can get to 240mm.It is an ideal machine for carton manufacturer.

4.Main structure and operation principle

4.1 Main structures

The machine consists of main machine frame and two small conveying stands.

The main machine frame consists frame, elevating platform, front-end transmission device, front-end gluing device, middle transmission device, middle press device and electrical control system.

4.2 Operation principle

Put the finished glue into the glue tank. Turn on the starting button of related section and make sure the machine is in good running condition. Switch on the valve in the bottom of the glue tank so as the glue can be flowed smoothly to the gluing head. Feed in the carton sheet according to the requirement, let one side of the sheet can be even glued application while it comes under the gluing head. Another side of sheet can be combined with the glued side by the press of the pressing wheel after it comes through the gluing head. The carton can be completely glued through the middle press device.

5.Installation and test running

5.1 To fix the machine first. Adjust the four anchor tolts, balance them and make them fixed.

5.2 Connect to the electricity power line. The power requirement is 3 phase,380V.The green one is the earth wire. Connect them according to the signs, linking products conveyor then tighten the screws.

5.3 After the completion of the connection of the power cable, do the test running without loading. Turn in the button of on the front-end and middle transmission belt. The correct running direction of the belt is to transmit the carton from the front to the rear. If the running direction of the belt is to transmit the carton from the front to the rear. If the running direction is converse, please change the position of two phase of the power connection so that the running direction of the motor will be changed.

6.Operation and adjustment

6.1 Sequence of start on:

6.1.1 Turn the power switch right to the position ON, the indicating light is on.

6.1.2 Put down the button on of front end transmission belt, start the main motor.

6.1.3 Adjust the height of front end pressing wheel so as to let the carton sheet go smoothly and press the sheet properly too. Please make sure to keep the same height for the pressing wheel to the working table.

6.1.4 Adjust the distance between the swing blocking plate and the middle blocking plate same as the height of the carton (Be attention that please do not make it to tight so that it will reduce the life of the main motor if it is too loose it will influence the quality of the gluing).

6.1.5 Adjust the height of the middle blocking plate to the data 1.5 times than the thickness of the finished carton.

6.1.6 Adjust the height of the middle pressing wheel so as to make the press roll can press the carton properly and let the carton go through smoothly.

6.1.7 Adjust the counter of the finished carton. Set the number of 8, 15 or 10, the quantity to send out the finished carton each time.

6.1.8 Put down the button of blower, start on the blower.

6.1.9 Put down the carton sheet in the position of gluing, move the left and right blocking plate to near the carton sheet. The two sides of blocking plates can be fixed at the position left 1.5mm to each side of plate.

6.1.10 Open the valve under the glue tank so as to make the glue flow to gluing head smoothly.

6.1.11 Feed in the carton sheet and start working.

6.2 Sequence of the turning off

6.2.1 Close the valve of the glue tank and let the glue inside the glue tube used completely.

6.2.2 Switch off the blower.

6.2.3 Switch off the motor of the front-end transmission device.

6.2.4 Turn the power switch left to the position OFF.

6.2.5 Switch off the power button if duty is off or long time on working.

7.Maintenance and lubrication

7.1 Every time when the duty is off, make sure to take apart of the gluing head and clean out against the rest glue will be clumped to affect the quality of the gluing. If the machine is in continuous working for a long time, please take apart of the gluing head every 4 hours and clean it out.

7.2 Every time after the cleaning of the gluing head, please dry the wheel head, copper bar, gear and the contact surface of the plastic on the head and add a little oil against rusty.

7.3 The chain must be added grease every month.

7.4 Keep the electric eyes clean.

7.5 The electric eyes are not sensitive to the black color. If the black printing area on the carton is too much, the electric eyes will make some wrong instruction. So when the black printing area of the carton is too much, please adjust clockwise the screw on the electric eyes in order to strength the light reaction.
