Brass nozzle band heater are available with various Energy saving options in various sheathing materials, viz. Chrome Nickel Steel, Brass, MS, depending upon applications which provides the best combination of physical strength, high emissivity & good thermal conductivity to heat cylindrical parts, good for sheath temperature up to 350⁰C.

Technical data:

1 Outer sheath: Copper/ stainless steel/ cold-rolled galvanized steel

2 Resistance wire: Cr20Ni80

3 Insulation material: Mica/ ceramic

4 Structure: Full sealed structure for copper, non-full sealed structure for other material

5 Shape: Full round, half round or 3/4 round, etc.

Features:

1,Mica band heating element is specifically designed for your Injection and Extrusion machines.

2,These heaters are custom made with Nickle -Chromium Resistance wire wound on Premium quality of Mica.

Standard sheath material is S.S.304; Other sheath material like Zinc Platted M.S.and Brass is also available.

3,Band heaters may be supplied in one piece and two pieces construction .

4,The specially designed tightening clamp provides full and even closure for maximum heat transfer.

5, A variety of terminal type and location is possible to meet any installation need.

6,Depending upon the Voltage and Wattage a suitable size of the resistance wire is selected as per the recommendation of the resistance wire manufacturer. This wire is wound on premium mica to form a coil.

7,The coil is placed between the Mica sheets and is then enclosed in metal enclosure.

8,The element wire is terminated on a brass strip from where the lead wires are taken out further.

9,These strips are covered with a ventilated terminal box. The heater is provided with a clamping device, which has a Cap Screw for easy installation, and even tightening of the heater on the barrel.
