The intensifieracts as an amplifier as it converts the energy from the low pressure hydraulic fluid into ultra-high pressure water. The hydraulic system provides fluid power to a reciprocating piston in the intensifier center section. A limit switch, located at each end of the piston travel, signals the electronic controls to shift the directional control valve and reverse the piston direction.

The intensifier assembly, with a plunger on each side of the piston, generates pressure in both directions. As one side of the intensifier is in the inlet stroke, the opposite side is generating ultra-high pressure output. During the plunger inlet stroke, filtered water enters the high pressure cylinder through the check valve assembly. After the plunger reverses direction, the water is compressed and exits as ultra-high pressure water and then enters the pressure vessel(accumulator) The accumulator smoothes pressure fluctuations from the intensifier and delivers a constant and steady stream of ultra-high pressure water to the cutting tool.

Main characteristics of Intensifier

Intensifier is the power sourse of the whole set of waterjet cutting machine. The pressure strength, the pressure stability, the continuous operating pressure and the life and reliability of high pressure parts will directly effect the cutting efficiency, cutting surface quality ,precision and the total cost.

1. 380 MPa Pump is originally imported from American , Advanced structure,reasonable, high stability.

2. Integrated heat exchanger, high heat exchange ratio and good effect, control the

temperature of the hydraulic oil within the limited.

3. Twice water filers (5um,1um,0.45um)to minimize the damage which the impurities

to high pressure seals, nozzles and other parts.

4.Two step-up water to make sure the pressure. automatic alarm and protection function

when water is inadequate. Avoiding the damage to the machine and the working performance

because of lack of water pressure.

5. Multi filter the outlet oil and return oil and have pollution alarm, oil cooling and oil

tempreture alarming function. to make sure the continuous operation.

6. Between the main motor and pump with flexible connection to eliminate eccentric,

absorbing vibration, to ensure its long-term reliable operation.

7.Few wear parts in the intensifier, so the operation cost is low. Otherwise, the life of wear

parts are long so that the intensifier future cost will be little.

8. Overpressure and under-voltage automatic shutdown protection function

9. In order to reduce energy consumption because of voltage spikes, we install a star - delta

starter for this intensifier, so that the power system will not subject to unnecessary high loads.

10. Touch screen, can display all parameter, correctly show working condition and the

breakdown of the machine. To make the technican work better.
