Double Star Luohe Zhongyuan Machinery Co., Ltd is the backbone of Double Star Group in foundry machinery, and one of six key enterprises of original ministry of machinery industry and the largest machinery production base in Henan province of China.

Our company is state-owned enterprise, the state has 60% stock right. With more than 40 years of manufacture and practice experience in foundry machinery, we mainly product foundry sand reclamation complete plant, Vacuum process moulding plant, sodium silicate sand reclamation complete plant, Lost foam(EPC process) production line, dust cleaning equipment.

Our company in 1999 got through ISO9000 authentication. Our company subordinates five branch factories and one research institute. It is the second measurement unit in China, and the only enterprise that obtained the pressure vessel manufacture license in foundry machinery industry. We developed the first Vacuum process moulding plant to manufacture axle castings in China. Our three-claw clamping positioning device, self-hardening double sand three mixing continuous mixer, multilevel efficient reclamation winnower, roller reversal type strength scrub reclaimer, hydraulic clamping turn-over machine, winnowing and magnetic separation one machine, and low speed continuous sand mixing device have obtained national patent in China. We have the comprehensive ability of completely independent design, development, manufacture and commissioning. Our equipment have been sold throughout the country and exported to Asia, Europe, South America and other regions, whose technical level has reached the international advanced level.

Vacuum process molding line is an emerging molding process which invented and developed successfully from Japan

in the 1970s. It adopts unit sand as molding sand, using plastic film coated forming in the mould with air vent and air

extractor after heating, sealed box, vacuating the molding, causing pressure difference between molding inner and

outer makes dry sand compact to form needed mold cavity.

The basic equipment of vacuum process is: sand box mould with vacuum, vacuum pumping system, plastic film

heating, molding and cutting off, vibrating table, sand processing equipment and so on.

Our company has world leading vacuum process molding technology. We can design different vacuum process

molding equipment and corresponding sand processing equipment.

Vacuum process molding technology has developed well during the recent years by the higher degree of

automation, higher quality of casting, high precision, no pollution, saving energy, improving working environment

and so on.

Vacuum process molding casting surface quality is good, less casting defect, easy stripping, high precision casting

dimension. Molding sand doesn’t use binder, totally recycling, reducing the mineral cost, so it is applied in more and

more fields.

Advantages:

1) Improve casting quality: surface finish, edge sharpness and accurate size. The hardness of casting mould is high

and even, easy to withdrawing pattern.

2) Simplify the equipments and save the investment, reduce the maintenance cost when operating. Leaving out the

binder, addition and sand mixing equipments. The reuse rate of old sand is above 95%, the equipment investment

reduces 30%, labor force reduces 35%.

3) The usage of mould and sand box is longer.

4) High utilization rate of the metal. In the process of vacuum molding, the metal fluldity is good, good filled ability.

It can produce 3mm castings. The hardness of casting mould is high, cooling slowly., improving the casting yield and

machinery allowances.

5) It is better for environmental protection. Because of adopting the dry sand without binder, saving the binder,

addition or drying process, reducing the environmental pollution. It is a kind of green casting process.

The application scope for vacuum process

1) It is used for single kind and large volume production casting. (such as axle ,counterweight and so on)
